For six months, hotels across the country rallied for evacuees from the north and south and did everything they could to make them feel at home. Now, when most of the evacuees have found other permanent solutions, the hotels in Israel are preparing to host over 120 individual soldiers and female soldiers for Seder night and all of Passover as part of the hotel association's initiative.
During the holiday, the soldiers will take a break from fighting and will stay for the first holiday in hotels throughout the country while enjoying full board and a host of other treats.
This is the 20th year that the hotel association has been promoting the project to host single soldiers in hotels, and to date over 5,000 soldiers have taken part in the project and stayed in hotels all over the country.
Romi Gordinsky, Vice President of the Hotel Association in Israel, and the initiatives of the Soldier Hospitality Initiative: "For 20 years, the Association of Hotels and Hotels in Israel has been proud to host individual soldiers on Israeli holidays in general and on Seder night in particular. The warm embrace that the hotels give to the soldiers and the respite they allow them from the exhausting routine of the war are more important this year Constantly. Thanks to those soldiers and women who risk their lives, we can continue to help on the home front, and now the hotel teams are waiting to host them and prepare a host of surprises for them.'
