A limestone tablet discovered south of Hebron bearing ancient Hebrew text contains the earliest known reference outside biblical scripture to the title ‘Lord of Hosts.’ The artifact demonstrates the name and title were in use during the First Temple period in the Kingdom of Judah, and is currently on display in the ‘Six After the War’ exhibition at the Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem.
