Jerusalem District Court has determined there is insufficient evidence to support murder charges against Agam Tzarafi, ex-partner of murdered Binyamin Rezty, and Shilat Hote, according to reports from Ynet and Walla. The court found probable cause for accessory to murder charges against both defendants.
Both women have been referred for probation service assessments to examine the possibility of their release on alternative conditions to remand. No final decision on their release has yet been made. Rezty’s family has rejected the court’s ruling as “absurd and irresponsible.”
The decision comes three months after Rezty’s murder. The legal development represents a significant turn in a high-profile case that has received substantial media attention in Israel.
