The Israeli Defence Force and Shin Bet announced Tuesday that a military strike killed the last remaining Hamas member who participated in the kidnapping of Shani Louk during the 7 October attacks. The operation marks a significant milestone in Israel’s targeted elimination of those responsible for the abduction.
In the same operation, the IDF also targeted a senior Hamas operative from the terror group’s general security apparatus. According to reports, the operative and his wife were among seven Palestinians reportedly killed in the strike on Tuesday.
This development represents a major achievement in Israel’s ongoing campaign to eliminate key figures responsible for the October 7 hostage-takings and attacks that precipitated the current conflict.
