Elisaf Peretz, an educator, reservist soldier and social activist, has joined a new political initiative aimed at establishing a fresh Zionist political force, led by Chili Tropper and Yoaz Hendel. Peretz, whose brothers Lieutenant Uriel Vares and Sergeant Eliezer Peretz were killed in action, has spent years working to strengthen Israeli society and promote the values of Zionism, military service and mutual responsibility. Since the outbreak of war in October 2023, he has completed more than 450 days of reserve duty. The move reflects ongoing efforts by centrist and right-wing figures to reshape Israel’s political landscape following the current conflict. Tropper and Hendel have previously been involved in various political initiatives aimed at attracting voters concerned with national security, social cohesion and democratic values.
