Elderly pedestrian in critical condition after being struck by car in central Israel

An 80-year-old pedestrian is in critical condition following a traffic accident in Hod HaSharon, a town in central Israel. The incident occurred on Ramatiyim Road, one of the main thoroughfares in the area. Paramedics from Magen David Adom, Israel’s ambulance and emergency medical service, were dispatched to the scene immediately after the collision was reported. The elderly man sustained serious injuries from the impact and required urgent medical intervention at the location before being transported to hospital for ongoing treatment.
