For the first time from Israel: these are El Al's new destinations for Greece

In the shadow of growing demand, El Al Group's Sun Dor is expanding its offer of flights to Greece this summer and announced today (Thursday) the addition of two new routes to the Greek islands – Kefalonia and Sitia (Crete). The operation of the new routes is possible thanks to the agreement that El Al recently signed with the Lithuanian company KLASJET for the lease of two planes, in order to meet the high demand.

Sun Dor will operate two weekly flights to Sitia on the island of Crete, on Mondays and Fridays, at a price starting at $199 round trip for a Lite ticket, with the first flight taking off on June 7, 2024. Crete is a favorite destination among the Israeli public, which is about an hour and a half flight away and offers Golden beaches, a variety of activities and attractions for the whole family, historical archaeological sites and more.

In addition, Sun Dor will operate two weekly flights to the island of Kefalonia, on Sundays and Thursdays, at a price starting at $239 round trip for a Lite ticket, with the first flight departing on June 6, 2024. Kefalonia, located in northwestern Greece, is a mountainous island whose beauty stems from the combination of Green mountains and turquoise sea water. The island offers a variety of magical beaches for a backpacking vacation, alongside hiking trails in the mountains, spectacular caves and authentic fishing villages.

The new destinations join Sun Dor's flight schedule for the coming summer, which includes the destinations: Rhodes and Thessaloniki (Greece), Batumi and Tbilisi (Georgia), Larnaca and Paphos (Cyprus), Warsaw and Krakow (Poland), Tivat (Montenegro) and Chisinau (Moldova).
