An indictment has been filed against Aviador Zaken, a former inmate, for allegedly murdering his grandfather’s care worker. According to the prosecution’s case, after carrying out the attack, Zaken reportedly told his grandmother that the screams she heard were coming from the television. The indictment alleges that Zaken then moved the victim’s body to prevent blood from staining the carpet, before leaving the scene after kissing his grandparents. The case centres on whether Zaken was responsible for the death of the elderly couple’s live-in carer, with prosecutors arguing the evidence points to his guilt. The defence is expected to contest the charges, with the trial set to examine witness statements and forensic evidence presented by the prosecution.
