Tehila Eisman, a respected educator and social activist from the coastal town of Hadera, has died following a collapse during a pilates exercise class. The 68-year-old was hospitalised after the incident but passed away several days later, just days before what would have been her 69th birthday. Her death has shocked the local community, where she had been a prominent figure for many years. Eisman was widely known for her work in education and her extensive involvement in social causes throughout Hadera. Her daughter paid tribute to her mother’s impact, saying: “She was an anchor for so many people.” The exact circumstances of her collapse during the fitness class have not been disclosed. Eisman’s passing represents a significant loss to Hadera’s social and educational sectors, where her contributions had touched numerous lives over decades of active community engagement.
