Hamas warns Israel of potential major attack ahead of elections

Hamas leaders in Gaza have reportedly conveyed a warning to Israel of a possible large-scale attack similar to October 7, according to reports. The message was allegedly transmitted via a UN coordinator to a senior IDF officer, who subsequently sent an urgent letter to Prime Minister Netanyahu. The warning comes as the IDF prepares enhanced security measures, including a lockdown on the West Bank and restrictions on Palestinian access to settlements until after election day.
