Head of Mossad’s overseas covert operations division seeks early departure

Breaking

The head of Caesarea Division at Mossad, the unit responsible for special covert operations outside Israel, has requested an early termination of his position, originally scheduled to end in 2027, according to Walla reports.

The division manages Israel’s most sensitive foreign intelligence operations. While a replacement candidate has been identified, the selection process has not yet been completed.

Mossad declined to comment on the matter. The reasons for the early departure request remain unclear, though such changes in senior intelligence leadership typically carry significant operational implications.
