An accredited hospital orderly in Israel has been convicted of rape and indecent assault against a female coworker, whom he lured to a doctor’s on-call room and assaulted despite her pleas to stop. The accused exploited his position as shift supervisor to isolate the victim. A court unanimously rejected his claim that the encounter was consensual.
