IDF strikes to eliminate Hamas Gaza leader Ali al-Amoudi, Yahya Sinwar’s successor

Breaking

The Israeli Defence Force launched attack helicopter and tank strikes in Gaza on Saturday targeting Ali al-Amoudi, who succeeded Yahya Sinwar as Hamas’s leader in the Gaza Strip. The operation represents a significant escalation in Israel’s efforts to decapitate Hamas leadership following Sinwar’s death.

Ynet reported that al-Amoudi, a Syrian military officer, had previously been dismissed from two airlines yet managed to enter Israel. The operation comes as part of ongoing Israeli military operations against Hamas command structures in Gaza.

This marks a major military operation aimed at eliminating the current leader of Hamas in Gaza, representing a continuation of Israel’s strategic effort to neutralise the organisation’s senior leadership during the ongoing conflict.
