Israeli Cyber Security Officer Arrested for Hacking Companies and Spying on Women Through Laptop Cameras

Investigators from Unit 433 (Israel’s cyber crime unit) have arrested Micki Bar from Ashdod after discovering an extensive hacking operation spanning several years. Bar allegedly developed malicious software using AI tools and breached dozens of companies’ systems.

According to Ynet, the investigation revealed that Bar accessed personal computers of female employees and watched them in intimate situations, including viewing their children. The case initially raised suspicions of Iranian agents or hackers attempting extortion or sabotage against Israel.
