Israel celebrates independence in nature: about 210 thousand Israelis took advantage of the perfect weather and went out to celebrate Independence Day in nature. Heavy loads were recorded at many sites throughout the country, from north to south, and the public was asked not to go to some of them due to the load of visitors.
Among the prominent sites visited by travelers:
Tel Ashkelon National Garden with 20 thousand visitors
Yarkon Tel Afek National Park with 6500 visitors
Caesarea National Park with 6200 visitors
Eshkol Park with 5,500 visitors
Ein Gedi Nature Reserve with 3,700 visitors
In addition, 3000 visitors walked today in the Banias Nature Reserve and the Maayan Harod National Park.
