He added regarding the issue of legal reform: "I don't make light of warnings, right now the state of the economy in Israel is excellent. There is no doubt that the way in which the subject of the reform was closed in the midst of the most difficult internal conflict, is something that hurts beyond the good data."

He supported Prime Minister Netanyahu's approach: "The line that the Prime Minister is following, of putting the reform up for discussion and trying to reach broad agreements in order to promote changes in the judicial system, there is an opportunity here. Blame the coalition for doing it unilaterally without negotiation." Katz sent a message to the members of the opposition: "Right now the test is theirs. The situation created today of fear of international credit rating happened as a result of the conflict here in the country."

The former Minister of Transportation also spoke about the light rail and the metro: "Beyond all the infrastructure and the light rail, the first line starts working in Gush Dan a year and a half late but it is starting, the metro is an extremely important thing to connect the center to the periphery."
