An indictment was filed against Khamis Suaed, a resident of Hushniyya in the Galilee in his 30s, following an investigation by Shin Bet security agency and police. The suspect is accused of identifying with ISIS and conducting training with the intention of joining the organisation’s armed operations abroad.
During questioning, evidence emerged that Suaed viewed instructional content on combat techniques, weapons use, missile production and drone construction for terrorist purposes. The investigation revealed a deliberate pattern of preparation for militant activity.
The case represents an ongoing security concern regarding radicalisation and recruitment to designated terrorist organisations operating outside Israel’s borders.
