The Jerusalem municipal planning committee approved a large-scale redevelopment project in the Island-Mexico complex area that will demolish five older buildings and construct three residential towers plus two additional buildings with commercial and public spaces. The plan was authorised less than three years after submission, representing significant densification in the capital.
