As we gather to celebrate the Jewish Passover, we reflect on the eternal story of the Israelites' exodus from slavery to freedom. The journey from slavery to liberation is not only a historical story but a powerful metaphor for our modern pursuit of economic freedom. Just as our ancestors were freed from the shackles of oppression, so too can we be freed from the shackles of financial bondage and achieve true financial independence.

Know the chains of financial encumbrance
Just as the Israelites were enslaved in Egypt, many people today find themselves enslaved in economic slavery. Whether it's debt, limited income opportunities, or financial dependency, these chains inhibit our ability to live freely and pursue our dreams. The first step towards liberation is recognizing the constraints that hold us back and recognizing the need for change. Free yourself from limiting beliefs and myths, which fix you in the middle class.

Use financial knowledge and education to grow financially
Education was a catalyst for the liberation of the Israelites, empowering them to challenge the status quo and envision a better future. Similarly, in our pursuit of economic freedom, knowledge is our greatest ally. Learn about financial education, investment opportunities and wealth building strategies. Do this by those who are already on the way or in the place you wish to reach. This way you will get the tools and insights needed to make informed decisions and free yourself from financial limitations.

Set freedom goals
Sounds banal but necessary, precise and acute definition of goals so that we know how to plan our steps. In order to make it easier for you, ask yourself what you would like to be freed from? That is, freedom from what you want to achieve. Freedom from expenses and dependence on a receipt – define the passive income you want to bring in. Freedom from dependence on housing – define the cost of your dream home that you would like to purchase freedom from financial concern for the children – define the fixed amount that will be transferred for the benefit of the children or the assets you want to take care of.

It is important to understand: "more money", "many assets" "less work" – they are not goals. Because they are not precise and clear enough. Setting a good goal is measured in numerical value, i.e. what is the cost of that goal (an apartment worth NIS 3 million). and is measured by the time you strive to reach it (5 years from today).

Invest wisely in real estate and business
Just as the Israelites traveled towards the promised land, so too we must embark on a journey towards investments and entrepreneurship. Real estate and business offer avenues for creating wealth and financial independence. Consider diversifying your investment portfolio, beyond the herd investments, which lead everyone to the same place. Do this by investing in profitable assets, such as apartments for improvement, commercial real estate, attractive land, etc. Do not be tempted to do these actions alone, and get the help of experts, who will be able to reveal deals to you in a timely manner and save you a lot of energy, time and money. Also incorporate business investments, whether through entrepreneurship, start-ups or strategic investments in established companies.

Cultivate a mindset of abundance
The journey from slavery to freedom requires a change in mindset – from scarcity to abundance, from dependence to self-reliance. Instead of focusing on saving, which leads to survival consciousness, think about how to earn. Embrace the belief that opportunities abound, and success is within reach. Focus on leveraging your talents, skills and networks to overcome challenges and take advantage of opportunities. Be proactive in looking for innovative solutions and creative paths towards economic empowerment.

Drag others along and empower them along the journey
Just as Moses led the Israelites to freedom, you too should strive to uplift and empower others in their journey towards financial liberation. You managed to overcome some obstacle, share with others, knowledge, insights, professionals, etc. You will help create a community that sets out together for financial freedom. As we celebrate Passover and reflect on the eternal lessons of liberation, let us remember that the journey to financial freedom is not without its challenges.
