The Israeli Defence Force will conduct a large-scale military exercise this morning at the Defence Ministry’s headquarters in Tel Aviv’s Kirya district. The drill, which has been scheduled in advance as part of 2026 training plans, will involve visible movement of security forces and military vehicles throughout the area. Residents and workers in the vicinity should expect to hear gunfire and explosions as part of the exercise. The IDF has stressed there is no security threat associated with the operation. The exercise is a routine part of the military’s annual training schedule and residents are advised not to be alarmed by the activity and sounds emanating from the base.
