Man killed in car and lorry crash on Negev highway

A man in his 50s has died following a collision between a car and a lorry on Route 80 in the Negev region of southern Israel. Two other men were injured in the accident – a 35-year-old who sustained serious injuries and a 45-year-old with moderate injuries. Both were treated at the scene by emergency medical services. Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash. Magen David Adom, Israel’s national emergency service, described the scene as chaotic, with significant emergency response activity required to treat the injured and recover the deceased.
