Israeli police have opened an investigation following a severe assault on a teenager in Rahat, with video footage documenting the violent incident. Masked attackers kicked the youth, struck him with batons, and pointed a weapon at him whilst recording the attack in an open area.

The victim’s family reported he is in severe psychological distress and suffered injuries across his body. The family stated the incident almost resulted in murder and expressed concern about the brazen nature of the filmed attack.

Police have launched a formal investigation into the assault. The case raises serious concerns about public safety and the willingness of perpetrators to document violent crimes.
