Nobel Peace Prize ‘dies’ with Elie Wiesel’s son criticising Philae award

Elisha Wiesel, son of Holocaust survivor and Nobel laureate Elie Wiesel, published criticism of the recent Nobel Peace Prize selection in FreePress, calling it a ‘betrayal of the prize’s purpose’. Wiesel argued the award imposes standards on the Jewish state not required of any other sovereign nation globally.
