Leaders of Israel’s Change and Correction bloc parties announced they will recommend to the president that Gadi Eisenkot receive the first mandate to form a government. The parties said they would work to establish a Zionist government based on four principles presented by Eisenkot, with coalition negotiation teams to begin immediately drafting agreements.
