A 17-year-old boy sustained moderate injuries in the attack and made his own way to hospital for medical treatment. Officers from the Shalom station in the Jerusalem district were dispatched to the scene, where they began gathering evidence and questioning witnesses about the circumstances of the incident.
According to initial investigation findings, the stabbing appears to have stemmed from a family dispute. Police have not yet released details about the identity of the suspect or whether any arrests have been made.
