Israeli police announced Saturday that they have opened an investigation into the assault of multiple diplomats in the Taybeh area of Binyamin, following video evidence circulated on social media.

According to police statement, the Binyamin station in the Samaria district transferred a report to the Foreign Ministry with the aim of locating the victims, collecting their testimonies and identifying the suspects responsible for the assault.

Police condemned the incident and stated they would take action to apprehend those responsible. The Foreign Ministry has been notified and is coordinating with security forces on the investigation.
