Pride events 2023 kick off with the biggest Pride weekend ever

The Municipality of Tel Aviv-Jaffa celebrates 25 years of the first Pride Parade with a wide variety of events, conferences and performances culminating in two huge events – the Pride Parade which returns to the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Promenade and will be held on Thursday, June 8th, and the main Pride Party that will be held on Friday, the 9th In June in Yehoshua Gardens Park with the participation of the leading female artists and artists in Israel and hundreds of thousands of participants from around the country and the world.

The municipality announced that this year we will hold the biggest pride weekend ever – the pride parade will begin on Thursday afternoon on Shlag Street, near the Tel Aviv Jaffa Promenade, and will continue to Daniel Street, and will be accompanied by 9 trucks of the leading lines in the city and the organizations of the gay community.

The next day, at noon on Friday, the main pride party will take place in Yehoshua Gardens Park. In honor of the 25th anniversary of the parade, Israel's leading artists, dancers, DJs and many other surprises will appear on the biggest stage ever.

The pride parade on the Tel Aviv Jaffa Promenade will take place on June 8, from 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The main pride party in Yehoshua Gardens Park will be held the next day, June 9, between the hours of 18:30 and 12:00. On these dates, changes will be made to traffic arrangements and roads will be blocked (full information will be published later). Also, public transportation will increase significantly.

In preparation for the main events, a wide variety of events open to the general public will be held in the coming weeks. Among other things, there will be a gay theater festival, a support rally for gay youth with the participation of Harel Sekat, Ben Zini and Dalit Rochester, a gay wedding event, a conscripts conference, an art festival, family happenings and more.

The pride events in Tel Aviv-Yafo are a long-standing tradition that began in 1998 and since then, every year hundreds of thousands of residents and members of the LGBTQ community march alongside tens of thousands of tourists from around the world.
