Russia strikes industrial facility in central Ukraine, two people injured

Russia has launched a ballistic missile attack on an industrial facility in Kryvyi Rih, a major city in central Ukraine, injuring two people, according to local officials. Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s military administration, announced the strike on Thursday, confirming that the facility had been hit during the latest round of Russian bombardment targeting Ukrainian infrastructure.

Kryvyi Rih, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region, has become an increasingly frequent target for Russian strikes as Moscow intensifies its campaign against Ukrainian industrial and civilian targets. The city, home to around 600,000 people, sits in the eastern part of central Ukraine and serves as a significant economic hub.
