US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan commented today (Friday) that US President Joe Biden has not yet invited Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to visit Washington and claimed that no conditions have been set that must be met before he receives such an invitation. According to the report in the US, Sullivan said that "there are no conditions or circumstances" that must be met before an invitation is given to Prime Minister Netanyahu to come to Washington, and said that this whole matter is exaggerated by the media. According to him,
"The White House is deeply involved with the Israeli government on a daily basis." He also noted that during a secure video call with the Israeli NSA, Netanyahu "came in" and participated in the discussion.
Sullivan spoke ahead of his trip to Saudi Arabia this weekend for a wide range of talks that will also include representatives from India, where peace in Yemen will be a big part of the agenda.
