Senior police officer resigns following harassment investigation

Breaking

Superintendent Alona Shoshan, head of the police’s Human Resources Division, has decided to leave her position after months of suspension. The suspension followed an investigation into allegations of witness harassment.

Shoshan has denied the accusations against her and has filed a sexual harassment complaint against a former spokesperson who served as a key witness in proceedings related to Ben Gvir associates.

The resignation comes amid broader scrutiny of police conduct and internal affairs, with the case highlighting tensions within Israel’s law enforcement hierarchy.
