Shocking: the grave of Zehava Ben's father was vandalized

Yesterday (Wednesday) the annual commemoration of Shimon Benisti , the father of the veteran singer Zehava Ben, took place. The one who came to visit his grave was Jacqueline Levy , her sister, who discovered something terrible there. The headstone on the grave was smashed and their father's grave was vandalized and desecrated . Their father, who died in 1988, when he was only 50 years old, used to be a musician in Morocco, and influenced Zhava a lot.

The suspect's identity is unknown and no complaint has been filed with the Be'er Sheva Religious Council. Zahava Ben said about the incident: "I found out about the case and I was just shocked on the worst possible level. This is a common phenomenon in the southern region. I hope they arrest her as soon as possible, especially in this period ." Jacqueline also commented on the issue and said: "They didn't just break the headstone, they broke the family's heart."
