A suspect has been arrested following intelligence information received by the security establishment regarding a planned attack. The Takila unit, comprising Shin Bet personnel and military operatives, was activated based on the intelligence tip-off.

The arrest led to significant traffic disruptions in the Latrun area on Highway 1, one of Israel’s main north-south routes. Security forces implemented heightened measures in response to the intelligence assessment.
