I am convinced that the passing of the law will open up many new employment opportunities for the population of people with disabilities."
Minister for Regional Cooperation and Minister in the Ministry of Justice, Dodi Amsalem: "This is an issue close to my heart, which I have followed for many years, even during my tenure as the chairman of the Knesset's Interior Committee. I think we have an opportunity here to correct a historical injustice and to improve and promote people with disabilities – a worthy, correct and moral act.
Minister of Labor, Yoav Ben Tzur: "As a welfare and education man for decades, I worked hard to integrate people with disabilities into the labor market. Reducing the gaps in the employment market between the various groups in society is a national and important task. Our future as a strong, moral and united society depends on our ability to take care of disadvantaged populations first and foremost Through their integration into society. Disability is not a limitation and every person has the potential to successfully integrate into work and society."
