The trend is changing again: Gantz is getting stronger, Netanyahu is getting weaker Ma'ariv survey

Against the backdrop of the uncertainty regarding a possible hostage deal or land entry into Rafah, the swing of mandates between the state camp and Likud continues, but the status quo between the coalition and the opposition is maintained. This is according to the "Maariv" survey, conducted by Lazar Research, led by Dr. Menachem Lazar, in collaboration with Panel4All.

After many weeks of declining polls, the state camp this week gains 2 seats to 31, while the Likud drops to 19 seats. Gideon Sa'ar does not pass the threshold this time, after last week the State Right Party under his leadership received 4 mandates. In the general summary, the existing situation between the blocs remains with 50 mandates for the coalition and 60 for the opposition, which does not include Hadash-Ta'al and Ra'am.

Simultaneously with the strengthening of the state camp, the gap in the prime ministership between Benny Gantz and Benjamin Netanyahu reopened to 14%. In the previous survey, the gap between them was 9%. Among Likud voters, Gantz gets 16%, Netanyahu 71%, and 13% don't know. Among Yesh Atid voters, Gantz gets 85%, Netanyahu 4%, and 11% don't know. Among the voters of the state camp, Gantz gets 89%, Netanyahu 9%, and 2% don't know.

In the survey, which was conducted on May 1-2, 500 respondents participated, constituting a representative sample of the adult population in the State of Israel aged 18 and over, Jews and Arabs. The maximum sampling error in the survey is 4.4%.
