"Trying to collect myself": Guy Zoertz told Yael Bar Zohar the next thing that broke her

On Family Day, the Zoertz family experienced a tragedy when the father of the presenter Guy Zoertz passed away. Now his wife Yael Bar Zohar shares their difficulty with the loss. "Yesterday I entered the bedroom and saw Guy with red eyes, I asked him what happened. Then he said: 'My father.' 'I was only with my grandfather for seven years, you were 50.'

"'True. Do you miss Grandpa?', 'Of course I think about him every day'. 'And do you cry sometimes?' – 'Yes, I cry every day.' 'When do you cry, father?'. 'I don't know, it suddenly comes and goes.' Wanting to cry is really fine because deep down your heart is happy, that you had such a stunning grandfather,'" Zoaretz told Bar Zohar about the conversation with his daughter.

"She won a grandfather from the legends because there is and will never be another like you. Guy won a father from dreams and I won too, how lucky I was to have you from my mother. I miss you terribly and can't hold back the tears," Bar Zohar wrote and shared a picture of teary eyes. She added: "Trying to collect myself, reminding myself that Ziggy is an extraordinary man in his optimism. 'Everything is rosy', 'The world is funny so you laugh', 'Believe, believe', but those were his sentences. I always told him to give it to me, Avraham Avino Mine. I wish you would send us signs so we know you are well," Bar Zohar wrote.
