Two children were injured on Tuesday afternoon after their quad bike was hit by a truck in the village of Zemer in northern Israel. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (Israel’s ambulance service) provided emergency medical treatment at the scene before transporting both children to Hillel Yaffe Medical Centre in Hadera. The younger child, aged seven, sustained serious injuries including a head trauma and was admitted in critical condition with impaired consciousness. The older child, aged nine, suffered only minor injuries. The circumstances surrounding the collision are currently under investigation by local authorities.
