US citizens charged with financing Hamas through charity donations during war

Breaking

Four indictments have been filed in the United States against a Hamas operative from Gaza named Salim al-Zaq and three Americans, including a pair of brothers from Louisiana, who allegedly raised funds for the designated terrorist organisation during the war.

According to the charges, the defendants claimed the funds were being transferred to wounded civilians in Gaza and deliberately avoided posting “Free Palestine” content on social media, apparently to conceal the true purpose of the fundraising campaign.

The case represents a significant law enforcement operation targeting alleged illicit financial support for Hamas through ostensibly humanitarian charitable channels.
