The United States military is establishing Task Force Iron Gate, based in Tampa, Florida, to coordinate efforts restricting Iranian land commerce alongside a naval blockade. The task force will work with multiple US government agencies to enforce trade restrictions on Iran. This represents an expansion of existing US efforts to limit Iranian economic activity.
