Weight-loss injection shows promise in children aged six to twelve

A Novo Nordisk study reveals that semaglutide injection proved effective in children aged 6-12, with 40.4 per cent no longer classified as obese after 68 weeks compared to none in the control group. The trial marks the first evidence of the popular weight-loss drug’s efficacy in young children. Long-term effects and precise weight-loss figures were not presented in the preliminary findings.
