63% of war wounded struggle with psychological injuries

Two years into the conflict, Israel’s rehabilitation services report 30,000 wounded with psychological injuries affecting nearly two-thirds of cases. The majority are under 30 years old and reservists. Medical officials estimate up to 100,000 wounded will require treatment through 2028, with roughly half experiencing mental health challenges requiring long-term care.
