Prominent surgeon Dr Yehuda David, recipient of the Israel Security Prize for his work during the Second Lebanon War, has died after battling cancer for over a decade. Despite his illness, he continued serving extensively as a reservist during Operation Swords of Iron. Colleagues described him as a rare figure of healing, wisdom and spirit.
