A 19-year-old man was injured in a violent incident on Friday night in Jerusalem’s Al-Makassed Street, with paramedics describing his condition as moderate. Emergency services provided immediate medical treatment at the scene before transporting him to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital for further care.
The young man sustained penetrating injuries to his lower body during the altercation. Magen David Adom paramedics, including senior medic Yisrael Horvitz and paramedics Amir Abu Tir and Yossi Tauber, administered emergency treatment that included haemorrhage control and bandaging before evacuating him to hospital.
Hadassah Ein Kerem’s trauma unit received the patient in moderate condition. Israeli police have not yet released details about the circumstances of the assault or whether any arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
