Israel completes control of Ali Tahir ridge in southern Lebanon

Defence Minister Yisrael Katz announced Friday that the Israeli Defence Force has completed its seizure of the Ali Tahir ridge in southern Lebanon and cleared tunnels in the area of Hezbollah operatives. Katz stated the operation completes the IDF’s consolidation of the security zone in southern Lebanon. Israel will not withdraw from the security zone until Hezbollah is disarmed across Lebanon and threats to Galilee residents are eliminated, he said.
