Fire at Canadian military base injures 39 personnel, 19 in serious condition

Breaking

A fire at a military base in Alberta province, Canada has resulted in 39 people being hospitalised, with at least 19 in serious condition, according to provincial governor Danielle Smith.

Major General Rutland reported that the fire began as a grass fire in a training area and spread rapidly due to strong winds. The blaze occurred at the military installation in the Alberta region.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the fire’s outbreak and do not believe any explosions at the base were caused by infrastructure failures, according to initial reports.
