A 23-year-old young man was stabbed yesterday by the captain of the ship that started sailing from the port of Jaffa and was moderately injured. It is suspected that before the stabbing, an argument developed between the two, after the young man wanted to take a picture in the captain's cabin, and he refused.
The victim was taken to the Wolfson Hospital, while the captain was arrested by the police. After a report was made to the police about the incident, the marine police went to the count and announced to the captain to return to the port.
After he was arrested, the 53-year-old captain is being interrogated by the Jaffa Police. Today the police will ask to extend his detention at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court.
