Member of Knesset Michael Biton spoke today (Wednesday) with Anat Davidov on her show "Where's the Money" on 103FM about the cost of living and claimed that the government is failing to lower prices and prevent price increases, even of the most basic products: "They throw sand in their eyes, the capitalist and insensitive right-wing economy has spread leg," he claimed.

At the beginning of his remarks he said that "an unprecedented situation has arisen here, a government promises to address the cost of living and invests 13 billion in coalition money, where is the money you promised to stop the cost of living? He attacked: "There is sand in your eyes. You promised free education. We gave you a tax credit. This is not free education. Israel's social crime is the generation of workers who were contract workers and left without a pension. An elderly person with a reasonable pension will survive, an elderly person without a pension should be given money. No will become a pauper relying only on an old age pension.

"The capitalist and insensitive right-wing economy has gone bankrupt, it killed public housing. There will be no income from freeholds, they are slowly eliminating public housing. This spirit that ignores the weak and knows how to be generous to sectors but does not reach out to public housing and protect the public, these are acts that will not be done and therefore The Minister of Finance does not get a high score."
