The employer applies to the tax authority for the compensation fund, receives the money and in the end is supposed to transfer it to the employee."
He also clarified that the Histadrut does not take part in the protest against the property tax fund: "This is a strike that does not concern the Histadrut, it does not concern the workers. The workers received instructions from the employers not to come to work and they pay them wages, so we do not interfere with them, but I can say that we have Concerns about harming certain authorities, but yes, in the end, this is an issue that the local government center faces with the government, and we support the local government center in the action it takes."
