Bahrain backs Saudi Arabia’s right to respond to attacks

The statement, issued on Wednesday, emphasised backing for “every step Saudi Arabia takes to protect its security and sovereignty.”

The Bahraini government stressed its support for Saudi Arabia’s right to respond to attacks and to deter aggressors. The statement reflects the close security ties between the two Gulf states, which form part of the broader regional security architecture in the Middle East.
