Full siblings: when the nursing staff are children of the same parents

Last Friday was the International Brothers and Sisters Day, during which the contribution of the nursing staff to society was honored around the world, but there are those who hold the double title of "brother and sister" – both as a profession and as each other's brothers.

This is the case with the brothers Odia and Naria Eisenberg who share the feeling of mission to the profession. The first of their children to turn to the field was Odia (29), who graduated from the nursing department of the Lev Academic Center in Jerusalem about 6 years ago, and currently works in the intensive care department at Shaare Zedek Hospital. From here the road was short until the moment when her brother Neria, who is in his last year of studying for a nursing degree at the Lev Academic Center, also contracted the nursing bug.

Deborah Dochen and Dan Leibler are also brother and sister in a square. Deborah (43) completed her nursing studies at Lev Academic Center in 2012 and currently works at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital. Her brother, Dan Leibler (29) is a third year nursing student at the Lev Academic Center. "I always felt that this is how I would express myself in the best way," he says.
