The Israeli Defence Force has announced the completion of clearance operations in the strategic ‘Litani Ridge’ area following earlier Iranian threats. The IDF stated that the purification of underground and above-ground infrastructure has concluded, with some militants neutralised and others reported to have fled the area.

The operation involved extensive searches of military facilities, storage areas and civilian infrastructure that had been used by Hezbollah operatives. IDF forces continue to neutralise remaining threats in the region.

This development comes as part of ongoing Israeli military operations against Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon, with further strikes reported in the area throughout the evening.
